Weekend in Istra,Croatia

I love traveling, taking my daughters to discover  amazing places near by to enjoy sunny spring weekend.

Our first destination was town centre of  Rijeka,  and old town Trsat a major Croatian Christian pilgrimage centre and home to a statue of Pope John Paul II who came to Trsat as a Pilgrim in 2003.

We were honored to be accompanied by Oil refinery direktor of Rijeka ,Erkki Ranta from Finland. He is a warm hearted person who made our visit very special.

Erkki is loyal Theatre  guest  in Rijeka, and I had an opportunity to see famous simphony orchestra “Mahlerova peta” conducted by Ville Matvejeff.

The next day we visited Opatija and Rovinj. Amazing place to visit.
